Executive Order 9066 forced first- and second-generation Japanese-Americans into internment camps. The youngest active-duty sailors on Dec. 7, 1941, would have been about 17, making them 98 today. Many of those still alive are at least 100. The U.S. Navy and the National Park Service will host a remembrance ceremony at Pearl Harbor on the 81st anniversary of the 1941 Japanese bombing.
