The Army will come together with joint partners this summer to tackle how to sustain forces during the first few months of large-scale combat operations. The nation's only joint Veterans Affairs and Defense Department health care center began using a new compatible medical records system on Saturday. The officer was serving in a support role for the U.S. security staff at the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem. More than 6,500 troops will participate in the month-long exercise. A platoon from the 101st Airborne Division will be the first to field the new weapons later this year. Smaller command posts already are being tested at the National Training Center and overseas. The exercise included a 150-mile helicopter deep strike and armed snowmobile hunter-killer teams. An Army doctor faces arraignment over charges that he sexually assaulted 42 male patients he treated while working as an anesthesiologist. The new radio ruck is expected to field in early 2025.
