Three 1st Cavalry Division soldiers are in stable condition after a tank accident during training in Slovakia.

Their M1A2 Abrams tank ran into an embankment during an exercise at Multinational Training Area Lest, according to a release from Operation Atlantic Resolve.

The soldiers are assigned to 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and have been in Europe since May. The Fort Hood, Texas-based soldiers were training as part of the exercise Slovak Shield.

The incident is under investigation, according to the release.
