No one was going in or out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, on Friday as officials search for a child who might have been kidnapped by a family member.
The post’s gates were locked down and authorities are searching for a blond, blue-eyed, 3-year-old boy in a white Dodge Durango, according to a message from the installation’s official Twitter account at just before noon Central time.
“His name is Caleb Hill,” according to a follow-up tweet. “We do not have a photo at this time. As soon as one is available we will share it.”
Gates reopened half an hour later, but the search continued for the boy and the vehicle, with Kentucky license plate 182WEH.
