Army Criminal Investigation Command is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone with information that can lead to the identification, arrest and conviction of a person wanted for sexual assault of a soldier assigned to Fort Stewart, Georgia.
The person is described as African American, approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 10 inches tall and of medium build, with a military-style haircut and a slight Southern accent.
The assault reportedly occurred in a barracks on post in the early morning hours of Oct. 9, 2017, according to a CID press release.
Anyone with information regarding the incident should contact Special Agent Bernardo Perez at the Fort Stewart CID Office at 912-767-2900 or 912-271-7731.

Those who want to remain anonymous will be honored to the extent the law allows, according to CID officials.
No additional information has been released because of the pending investigation.
The offer of the reward expires Feb. 12, 2019.
