WEST POINT, N.Y. — More than 950 West Point cadets are preparing to graduate this week.
The U.S. Military Academy will host a series of ceremonies before the graduation ceremony Saturday at the installation's football stadium.
On Tuesday, West Point's oldest living graduate will lay a wreath on the academy's Thayer Statue. Retired Lt. Gen. William Ely is 105 years old and graduated in 1933.
An alumni review and an awards ceremony for distinguished graduates will follow on Tuesday.
