The Defense Department on Sunday released the name of a soldier who died while supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.
Warrant Officer Travis Tamayo, 32, died Friday in a non-combat-related incident in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
No further information was available. The incident is under investigation, according to DoD.
Tamayo, of Brownsville, Texas, was assigned to the 202nd Military Intelligence Battalion at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
