Three selection lists containing the names of senior noncommissioned officers designated for command sergeant major duties, and colonels and lieutenant colonels recommended for Army Competitive Category, Army Medical Department and Army Acquisition Corps command and key billet assignments will be released Thursday.
The selected soldiers will be assigned to senior leadership positions that become vacant in fiscal 2017, which begins Oct. 1.
Slated for release on Thursday morning are:
1. Active component brigade and battalion command sergeant major and sergeant major key billet selection list compiled by a board that met in October and November.
This list had been slated for release Tuesday, but was rescheduled for Thursday to coincide with the release of the special operations command sergeant major list.
2. Army Special Operating Forces group, brigade and battalion active component command sergeant major and sergeant major key billet list compiled by a board that met in early December.
3. Army Competitive Category, Army Medical Department and Army Acquisition Corps colonel- and lieutenant colonel-level command and key billet selection lists compiled by boards that met in November, January and February.
