Selection lists containing the names of several thousand active and reserve officers recommended for promotion to captain, major and colonel by boards that met in the spring will be released soon.
Two lists to be released Thursday, Oct. 8 were compiled by the fiscal 2015 Army Competitive Category captain board that met in April and May, and the Regular Army Chaplain Corps colonel selection board that met in May.
Results of the Judge Advocate General's Corps colonel board that met in June will be released Wednesday, Oct. 14.
Results of the Army Promotion List major board that met in March will be released Thursday, Oct. 15.
Promotions off the captain and major lists can begin as soon as scheduled by the Army. The colonel lists must be confirmed by the Senate before the Army can schedule promotions.
