A list containing the names and E-9 promotion sequence numbers of senior NCOs who recently graduated from the Sergeants Major Course will be released Friday.
Under Army policy, soldiers who complete the Sergeants Major Course are frocked to E-9 during the graduation ceremony at the Sergeants Major Academy and promoted to sergeant major by seniority and sequence numbers as vacancies occur in their military occupational specialty.
The new list will contain the names of soldiers who were members of Class 65 of the resident SMC, and Class 41 of the nonresident course, or who are otherwise making satisfactory progress as students in the nonresident Joint Special Operations Forces Senior Enlisted Academy course.
