The Army has announced the names of the active-component Army Medical Department, Judge Advocate General's Corps and Chaplain Corps colonels and lieutenant colonels selected by the special branches senior service college board.
The board met in March and April.
Most of the officers will attend 10-month resident war college courses that begin in the late summer of 2016.
Invitations for the 2016-18 Army War College Distance Education program will be issued by the Human Resources Command in March.
Officers who attend any of these courses incur a two-year active-duty service obligation.
