The Human Resources Command is working with Army Cyber Command, the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command and the Army G6 (chief information officer) to resolve a "significant and complex" information technology challenge that may result in several key personnel services systems being pulled off line, HRC officials said Thursday morning.

Affected systems include the Promotion Point Worksheet that supports the semi-centralized sergeant and staff sergeant promotion process, the Electronic Military Personnel Office (eMilPO), the Officer Evaluation Reporting System, the Interactive Personnel Records Management System and the My Board File record review tool.

"HRC will post notices on all public facing Web pages for these applications indicating the unexpected short-term outages," according to a statement issued by the command Thursday morning.
