Drone Aviation Corp. has delivered specialized surveillance equipment to the U.S. Army's Rapid Equipping Force.

The company did not specify the exact nature of the equipment, but described them as "advanced optics systems." Drone Aviation has previously supplied the Army with tethered drones and aerostats.

"Our systems leverage aerostat technology to elevate military payloads and provide network communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance," said Felicia Hess, CEO of Drone Holding Aviation Corp., which owns Drone Aviation Corp.
