Pfc. charged in crash that killed fellow soldier

Police in Killeen, Texas, arrested a 20-year-old soldier in connection with the crash that killed a fellow soldier near Fort Hood last week, local media reported.

The Herald, citing an arrest affidavit, reported that Jacobs knew Reyes and that Jacobs allegedly walked away from the wreck without aiding the fallen motorcyclist. Reyes also served in the regiment's engineer squadron, according to a Fort Hood news release on the crash.
