As of last weekend, golfers at Fort Benning, Georgia, can polish off their round at Jack's 19th Hole, a Jack Daniel's-branded bar and lounge connected to the golf course's pro shop. It's the second establishment on an Army installation to bear the Tennessee whiskey's name — last summer, the Jack Daniel's Lounge opened at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Officials settled on remodeling the golf course's clubhouse and pro shop, said Al Gelineau, Benning's MWR director. The facility had begun to "show its age," Gelineau said, and "didn't have a very upscale decor."
It took about four months to remodel the structure, he said. The new look and access to a patio will allow the building to host unit activities in addition to golfers — it can hold about 125 people, Gelineau said, with room for hundreds more in other nearby outdoor locations to accommodate larger groups.

In addition to typical bar food, the lounge offers personal pizzas, a selection of salads and, for those with heartier appetites, a quarter-pound hot dog, Gelineau said.
The location opened after a June 6 golf tournament honoring Gold Star fathers, a free golf clinic, an appearance by the base's Silver Wings Parachute Demonstration Team and a traditional "barrel roll" using an empty Jack Daniel's barrel, according to a Brown-Forman news release.
